Liverpool fans showed their love and support for Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, who announced Monday that he lost his baby son with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
United faced Liverpool on Tuesday, and during the seventh minute of the match (a nod to Ronaldo's jersey number) Liverpool fans sang their anthem âYou'll Never Walk Alone.â The home crowd at Anfield also joined the Red Devils fans in attendance for a round of applause for the football superstar.
Here's a couple of videos showing the touching moment:

It was truly a beautiful scene. While Manchester United and Liverpool are huge competitors for the European spots in the Premier League, it's heartwarming to see their fans come together and show support for one player who could really use it.
Cristiano Ronaldo didn't play in the game as he attends to family matters following the tragic news. The Manchester United striker revealed the death of his baby son on social media, sharing that he and Georgina had a twin but the baby boy didn't make it. The girl is safe, fortunately.
âIt is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you,â Ronaldo shared in a joint statement with his partner.
Our thoughts and prayers go to Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina Rodriguez and their whole family amid these tough and trying times.
