Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is evidently on the hot seat following a dreadful spell of results. The worst of them all was last weekend as the Red Devils suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford. By no surprise, the Norwegian's job is far from secure given the side is sitting in seventh place in the Premier League table.

Solskjaer has reportedly been given three games to turn things around ahead of a massive clash with Tottenham on Saturday. But, despite the tough times for Manchester United, he's staying positive. Via Sky Sports (from Fabrizio Romano):

Solskjaer's mindset is right, but if United doesn't start finding results, he will undoubtedly be sacked. According to reports, the club has already made contact with Antonio Conte as a potential replacement, but the Manchester United board still has belief in Solskjaer, who also enjoyed a phenomenal playing career with the Red Devils.

Manchester United has now lost five of their last seven games across all competitions and it won't get any easier after this Spurs game as they travel to Bergamo mid-week for a UCL match with Atalanta followed by a historic Manchester Derby against the reigning PL champions, City.

For a team that has title aspirations after a productive summer transfer window where they brought in the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, and Raphael Varane, their current form is unacceptable. If the losing continues, there will surely be a change in the Manchester United dugout very soon. It would be a shame to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer move on, but the club must do what's best for immediate success.
