Manchester United has unveiled the kits they will soon wear at Old Trafford during the 2020-21 season, sporting a different twist from a classic. Now that most Premier League teams have already released their home kits, the Red Devils were one of the few to yet showcase their new threads.

They did so on Tuesday, to the delight (or horror) of their fans:

The new kits feature the classic “devil” red with white accents, though sporting a digital pattern with black and grey lines along with the texture.

While teams like Liverpool chose to do a vintage take with their uniform, paying homage to teams of the past, Manchester United is looking to the future with a more progressive style.

This might not be up everyone's avenue, but at least the design doesn't vastly stray from its original concept.

The away kit boasts the same style, but sporting a grey and black tonality with white accents on the top stripes — a monochromatic look where the jersey sponsor truly stands out with the gold logo.

These new digs won't make everyone happy, but Adidas has landed on these new kits to be worn throughout the 2020-21 season. Maybe there's some hope for the alternate kits, we'll just have to wait and see.

There might be a change of heart if newcomer Jadon Sancho makes his debut in this new Manchester United kit, giving it something special to be remembered by.
