Real Madrid has long been an admirer of Liverpool talisman Mo Salah and it appears they're ready to make a move for the Egyptian next summer. According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Los Blancos plan to offer Eden Hazard and cash to the Reds for Salah, who has hit a stalemate in contract negotiations with the Merseysiders.

Hazard has struggled since joining Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2019, suffering numerous injuries that have kept him off the pitch. He's made just 37 appearances for the club and has yet to score a goal this season. Given his inconsistency, the Spanish giants are looking to offload the Belgian.

As for Salah, he's expected to fetch an extension of around €350,000 per week, but Liverpool has yet to seal the deal. That being said, he could ultimately leave Anfield if they can't come to an agreement. Real Madrid has a lethal partnership up top this season in Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior, but adding Salah to the mix would undoubtedly be a hit. He's currently leading the Premier League with seven goals and has netted 101 times in 152 appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side.

Real Madrid has no shortage of targets for 2022, either. They're still expected to be the frontrunners for PSG star Kylian Mbappe and are also in the mix for Erling Haaland, who is expected to leave Dortmund next summer. It will be very interesting to see which one of these players joins the side.
