The NBA's L2M report for the San Antonio Spurs-Portland Trail Blazers game revealed that DeMar DeRozan was fouled by Rodney Hood with 38 seconds left in the game.

It is worth noting that the Spurs guard called out the game officials following his team's 121-116 loss.

The Spurs clawed their way back from a 23-point deficit in the first half and even led by as much as 15 points early in the fourth quarter. However, the Blazers made a big run of their own.

DeRozan wasn't much of a factor for San Antonio on offense, as he finished with 16 points on an abysmal 4-of-15 shooting. Still, he did try to lead his team to victory at crunch time, but the refs failed to send him to the free-throw line.

It is unclear if DeRozan will be fined for his comments, but usually, players and coaches who criticize NBA officials publicly are fine $25,000 at the least.

The Spurs are currently on a five-game losing streak, and if they won't be able to turn things around quick, Gregg Popovich's record of 22 straight seasons of making the playoffs will come to an end.

DeRozan has been doing everything he can to help San Antonio. He's averaging 19.8 points on 50 percent shooting, 4.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists this season. However, it's the team's lackluster defense that prevents them from winning games. They are currently 16th in the league in terms of defensive efficiency.

The Spurs' glory days may be over, but they still have a roster that is capable of extending Popovich's playoff streak. At this point, DeRozan needs to be more consistent on offense if they wish to remain competitive in the loaded Western Conference.
