San Antonio Spurs’ Lonnie Walker seriously laughed about a graphic of him that went viral on Twitter. Clutchpoints’ Spurs Nation released a graphic of Walker that said “Rest up, Loonie” to which Lonnie responded with an “All of this for a wrist,” along with a couple of laughing emojis. Lonnie also added that he almost said “RIP” to himself because of how the graphic looked. At least he took it well and it brought a smile on his face.

Walker, who is currently sidelined with a wrist injury is significantly missed by the Spurs. The Spurs are clinging on to the seventh seed but have lost the past three games. According to head coach Greg Popovich, Walker is expected to be out after a week or so and will not pursue surgery. His injury is basically just overall soreness on his wrist.

Prior to the injury, Walker averaged 11.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He’s been in the league for three years now and this season has been his most impressive one so far. Walker is shooting 42.5 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from the three-point line this season. One of his best games this season was versus the Milwaukee Bucks where he scored 31 points on 13 for 21 shooting.

The Spurs have a couple of both winnable and challenging games in the next few days. They’ll be going up against the Sacramento Kings twice this week, followed by the Atlanta Hawks, Indiana Pacers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Denver Nuggets. They hope to make a playoff push this season after missing a shot at it last year.
