The San Antonio Spurs with their backs against the wall in a win-or-go-home Game 4 on Sunday afternoon pulled out a huge win. It was a collective effort on both ends of the floor that helped them edge the defending champions for the first time in the series.

Veteran guard Manu Ginobili was a huge factor off the bench scoring 16 points in 25 minutes played that included some timely shots down the stretch of the fourth quarter. Following the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr poked lightheartedly at his once former teammate's age after his big performance.

Although Ginobili is no longer the player he once was, he has shown the ability to show up in big moments and still provide the spark off the bench despite being 40 years old. He has an enormous amount of playoff experience that he can lean on to get him through moments like this where one more loss means a playoff exit.

Ginobili was a huge factor in the fourth quarter scoring 10 of his 16 points for the contest in the period. His steady play helped keep the Spurs in control of the game that saw their comfortable lead dwindle down to just two points early in the final frame as each of his shots helped keep the Warriors at a distance.

It was a bit of a flashback performance from Ginobili that saw him even battle through getting kneed as moments later he hit a difficult shot in the lane after briefly losing control of the ball. This took a total team effort to help the Spurs grab a big win to extend the series to a Game 5.

The deck may be stacked against San Antonio, but they have at least earned a crucial victory to keep their postseason hopes alive. With Game 5 headed back to the Oracle, the Spurs will once again likely need Ginobili to provide steady play to give them any chance of pulling out a huge win.
