If ball really is your life, you probably love the Drew League and care about what NBA players do in it.

The famous league, located in south central Los Angeles, was established in 1973 and consistently plays host to NBA-level talent, epecially in the summers.

Stanley Johnson, who was born in L.A. and played his high school ball in Santa Ana, California, is the most recent NBA player to make an appearance in the famous league.

And, he put on quite the show.

Not against the greatest competition, but Johnson still shows his talent in this highlight reel.

Last year as a rookie for the Detroit Pistons, Johnson averaged 8.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in 23.1 minutes per game. It was a solid campaign, and he earned important minutes in a first-round playoff series against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Maybe the most compelling part of Johnson's year was his confidence; in particular when, regarding LeBron James, he said he had him right where he wanted him during that playoff series. Spoiler: it did not end well for Johnson and the Pistons.

Johnson will spend the summer trying to improve upon a promising rookie year, and that includes appearances like this in the Drew League. It's fun for fans, there in person and on the Internet.
