Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is no stranger to Twitter controversy. He caught heat recently for a threatening tweet directed at an ESPN reporter, which he has since apologized for. And now, Brown has sent out another tweet which is sure to grab people's attention.

A Twitter user who used to work for the Steelers said that Brown should “thank his lucky stars” that he landed in Pittsburgh with Ben Roethlisberger, who was responsible for Brown putting up such impressive receiving numbers over the course of his career. Brown, of course, couldn't help but fire back.

It’s been a weird start to Brown’s season, both on and off the field. He has had a relatively slow start numbers-wise, at least relative to his incredibly high standards. He’s had just 18 catches for 160 yards through two games, including just nine catches on 17 targets for 67 yards on Sunday against the Chiefs.

During that game, Brown was seen having a heated conversation with offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner on the sidelines, which raised some eyebrows.

Obviously, the Steelers won’t be too keen to trade their prized receiver just to prove that he’d do well even without Roethlisberger. It also doesn't seem likely that Brown actually does want out of Pittsburgh despite his confrontation with Fichtner.

But while this whole Twitter incident could just be much ado about nothing, it does still add another layer to what has been an interesting first couple of weeks for the Steelers.
