Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joe Haden has had many arduous duels with wide receivers over his 12-year career in the NFL. Now, he is set for another challenge in the Steelers' upcoming Week 4 game against wideout Davante Adams and the Green Bay Packers.

Haden has had the responsibility of shadowing a multitude of Pro Bowl wide receivers, but he has not yet had the opportunity to cover Adams in his career. But in the Steelers' upcoming clash with Green Bay, Haden sees that it will take a collective effort to contain the one-time All-Pro wideout.

In speaking on Wednesday ahead of the Steelers' Week 4 matchup, Haden offered a hint at what to expect with his team's coverage plan against Adams.

“Make sure we let everybody on the defense know exactly where he's at,” Haden said. “He's not just a ‘Hey Joe, you go over there and good luck'. Coach T said that in the meeting to make sure everybody knows where he's at.

“He's a tremendous player and him playing with Aaron Rodgers for this long. They have great chemistry together where they can just find each other all the time. So just making sure we know where he's at, at all times, making sure that possession downs, he's the guy to get the ball. He's the guy to get the ball all the time, so just knowing where he's at just studying tape knowing where they like to get the ball to him.”

The Steelers have had to use their linebackers to cover opposing wideouts a fair share of times so far this season. For this upcoming duel with Adams, Haden is counting on Devin Bush among others to help in slowing down Green Bay’s top receiving threat.

“He's all 11,” Haden said. “He’s T.J.'s [Watt] guy. He's D Bush's guy. Everybody's guy. We just got to make sure where he's at. I’m not following.”

Haden did single out Watt, although it is currently not known whether he will feature against the Packers. The star pass rusher missed the Steelers' Week 3 home game against the Bengals due to a groin injury, but he was a full participant in practice on Thursday.

For a Steelers pass defense that currently ranks 20th in the NFL this season, Haden and company will have much on their plate to slow down Adams and his route-running prowess.
