Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool suffered a low ankle sprain in training camp on Tuesday, which caused him to exit early.

Ben Roethlisberger and Eric Ebron helped him off the field. It didn't look good initially since he couldn't put any weight on his leg,but the second-year wideout took to Twitter to assure that he was just fine.

That's definitely great news for the Steelers. Chase Claypool was an important piece in 2020 as he enjoyed a fantastic rookie campaign. The Canadian caught 62 passes for 823 yards while racking up nine touchdowns on the year. He also rushed for two TDs, helping the Steelers win their first division title since 2017.

Although the team suffered an early playoff exit against the Cleveland Browns, it was still a very promising first year in the league for Claypool after getting selected in the first round of last year's draft out of Notre Dame.

Given his comments, it appears that he shouldn't be out for long. Week 1 is still around three weeks away as well, so Claypool has time to recover. Along with JuJu Smith-Schuster and Diontae Johnson, Ben Roethlisberger has one of the best receiving trios in the NFL at his disposal. Hopefully, the Steelers can make some noise once again in 2021.
