Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is loving the Pittsburgh Steelers decisions in the 2021 NFL Draft. The three-time NBA champion, who hails from Saginaw, Michigan, was thrilled when his hometown team selected Najee Harris with the 24th overall pick in the first round.

On his Twitter account, Green proclaimed that the Steelers' ground game is back after adding the former Alabama Crimson Tide running back to the fold.

The former NBA Defensive Player of the Year may have even gotten ahead of himself though when he added the word “Super Bowl” on his tweet. Pump the breaks there a little bit, Dray.

Still, we can't fault Green's enthusiasm for the Steelers' pick. They need an infusion of young talent in their offense and the 23-year-old running back certainly fits the bill. Harris, after all, had an amazing four-year collegiate career, winning the Doak Walker Award and was named as a unanimous All-American in his senior year. He also became Alabama's all-time leader in rushing yards (3,843), total scrimmage yards (4,624), and touchdowns (57).

Steelers president Art Rooney II made good on his promise to revive the team's once-formidable rushing attack, after finishing dead last in the NFL in the category last season. It is also worth noting that Harris is the Steelers' first RB selected in the first round since 2008. Maybe Green is aware of that too.

Najee Harris will have some big shoes to fill with the Steelers, considering he shares the same last name as the franchise's all-time leading rusher Franco Harris. It remains uncertain how his game will translate in the next level, but it seems like he will have the full support of Draymond Green.
