Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster gave fans quite a bit of a scare after he performed the Milk Crate Challenge just a couple of weeks before the 2021 season starts.

In a now viral video on Twitter, the 24-year-old star can be seen going over the crates stacked like a pyramid. Fortunately for the Steelers and their fans, Smith-Schuster was able to finish the challenge without fallingā€“unlike most videos of the dangerous trend.

Still, it's hard not to worry about JuJu Smith-Schuster since the viral challenge has already resulted to several injuries, a lot of it leading to broken bones or other orthopedic injuries. With thatĀ  said, it was just not worth it for the Steelers youngster to risk it all just for a video and a few minutes of fame.

For what it's worth, the Milk Crate Challenge has already been banned on TikTok after doctors and other experts warned that it could lead to lifelong injuries. Still, it didn't stop peopleā€“like the Steelers WRā€“from sharing videos of them doing the challenge on other social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

Pittsburgh fans are certainly hoping Smith-Schuster is done with the challenge and won't repeat it again. After all, they really need him to stay healthy after last year's failure to make it past the Wild Card round.
