Throughout his first year in the league with the Pittsburgh Steelers, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has become one of the more popular players beyond just his stellar play on the field. Much of this has come due to his growing presence on social media over the last several months, and now he's making a pitch for The King.

With the offseason now in full effect, this has given Smith-Schuster plenty of free time to be more active on his social media platforms to create buzz over the internet. With that in mind, the 21-year-old has made a public pitch to Cleveland Cavaliers star forward LeBron James to make the leap to the NFL and join the Steelers next season.

Smith-Schuster has shown a keen awareness of the situation around the NFL and other professional sports on social media. Although there is little seriousness to this offer to the four-time NBA MVP, James does appear to be headed for an offseason where he will likely be a free agent, with his next move being up in the air.

It's nearly impossible to believe that James would consider changing professions, but it's fair to acknowledge that he has a strong admiration for the sport and is a huge fan of the NFL. He also played football in high school, where he was a standout wide receiver due to his size and athletic ability on the field.

This would require James to commit fully to leaving the NBA at the height of his career with several highly productive seasons ahead of him. He is also putting together yet another MVP caliber campaign despite being in his 15th year in the league, showing almost no regression to his individual game.

All in all, it's just another fun way for Smith-Schuster to interact with fans via social media, along with possibly getting a response from James. Expect more of the same from the second-year wideout this offseason.
