The Pittsburgh Steelers have been a team dealing with some issues both on and off the field during the 2017 NFL campaign. The most recent problem involved wide receiver Martavis Bryant who was recently benched for one game by the team for ill-advised social media post about teammate and fellow wideout, JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Head coach Mike Tomlin talked about Bryant and his handling of the benching for his comments about Smith-Schuster, via Joe Rutter of Triblive.com.

“He did a nice job of dealing with the suspension and working hard to get better at his craft,” Tomlin said. “That being said, we're moving forward. As in all cases, even with the injured guys, we'll let preparation and what happens in that preparation be our guide. But I'm comfortable with the trajectory of where he is coming off the missed action.”

In Week 10, the Steelers will go on the road to face the lowly Indianapolis Colts with Bryant expected to be on the field. Pittsburgh (6-2) is currently in complete control of the AFC North division which is turning out to be one of the worst in the NFL this season as Tomlin and company don't have much competition for the division title with the Baltimore Ravens in second place at 4-5.

If the Steelers can keep the drama off the field, the storied franchise might be the team to beat in the AFC this season and perhaps the toughest challenge for the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.
