The Oakland Raiders have traded wide receiver Ryan Switzer to the Pittsburgh Steelers, per Jordan Schultz of Yahoo! Sports.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network later added that the exact deal was Switzer and the Raiders' 2019 sixth-round pick for the Steelers' fifth-rounder.

This is the second time this offseason that Switzer has been traded. The Cowboys dealt him to the Raiders in April for defensive lineman Jihad Ward.

It’s also the second time the Raiders and Steelers have struck a deal for a wide receiver. The Raiders acquired Martavis Bryant from Pittsburgh for a third-round pick during the draft.

Switzer had six catches for 41 yards and four carries for five yards for the Cowboys as a rookie last year. He also returned 29 punts for 256 yards and a touchdown.

Switzer will be competing for snaps in the slot for a Steelers receiving corps that also features Eli Rodgers, as well as rookies Quadree Henderson and Justin Thomas. The two rookies are also two of Switzer’s main competitors for the punt returner job in Pittsburgh.

As for the Raiders, they will still have Amari Cooper, Jordy Nelson, and Martavis Bryant on top of their receiver depth chart. Seth Roberts could now see more time in the slot following Switzer’s departure.
