After a roller-coaster start to the season, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris is now stringing together formidable performances in his rookie campaign.

Harris came into the Steelers’ Week 8 road game against the Cleveland Browns in potent form, especially as he recorded 100-plus yards from scrimmage in his last two games. And now, the former Alabama Crimson Tide star has once again orchestrated one impressive highlight-reel play.

In a crucial red zone down in the third quarter of the contest, Harris flew on by for a Superman-like rushing touchdown. Even as two Browns defenders converged in an attempt to bring him down, Harris showed off his tremendous athleticism by leaping in for his fifth total touchdown of the campaign.

As mentioned, Harris is now finding his groove in the Steelers offense following a sluggish start to the season. Not only has he pulled off multiple impressive runs as of late but quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is now calling upon the rookie running back to be more involved in the passing game.

In the big picture, Harris may not be the top favorite for the 2021 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award, but the Steelers coaching staff sure must be pleased with his gradual improvements over this season.
