Melvin Ingram's time with the Pittsburgh Steelers is coming to an end … that is if the team finds a suitable trade before the November 2 deadline.
According to Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network, the Steelers are actively shopping Ingram, who has reportedly expressed his dissatisfaction and desire to leave the team to be in a better situation.
Apparently, the 32-year-old linebacker is not happy with his playing time after he was relegated to a backup role. Ingram has been a starter for the majority of his career, so it didn't sit well with him that he is playing behind Alex Highsmith.

It is unknown how far the Steelers have made when it comes to trade discussions involving Melvin Ingram, especially since it has been over a week since it has been reported that they are listening to trade offers. One thing is certain, however, there has been some interest on the linebacker.
For what it's worth, Pittsburgh reportedly rejected an offer from the Kansas City Chiefs for Ingram since they would rather send him to an NFC team instead of keeping him in the AFC.
With the deadline quickly approaching, the Steelers need to find a trade rather quickly if they don't want to keep a disgruntled star in their ranks. As they try to turn the season around, the last thing they want is an unnecessary distraction in the locker room.
