The Golden State Warriors have 20 games left to play. In turn, limited opportunities for Stephen Curry to show them what next season could potentially look like. Curry isn't expected to play in every one of those games, especially with three back-to-back games still on the schedule.

Yet head coach Steve Kerr wouldn't rule out his star point guard playing in some of them, even after missing four months with a broken left hand.

Via Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area:

“It's all gonna be day-to-day,” Kerr said Wednesday night on 95.7 The Game's “Damon, Ratto & Kolsky.” “We'll see how he's doing on the following day after the game and go from there. I think everything is really a possibility, but it will all be determined on Steph's health.”

The Warriors have three back-to-backs remaining in their 2019-20 season — all within a two-week lapse. They will face the Detroit Pistons and the New York Knicks at the end tail of their East Coast road trip in Mar. 20-21, then the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs at home on Mar. 28-29. Golden State will finish with the Houston Rockets and the Spurs on Apr. 2-3 as part of a short three-game road trip.

While playing him in consecutive days can be daunting for a player who has missed four months with an injury, the Warriors want to see Curry as close to mid-season shape as possible.

“He understands what's at stake and this needs to be a full recovery, so if he's struggling at all he'll sit out,” said Kerr. “Hopefully everything goes well — knock on wood — and he gets to finish out these last [20] (games).”

Kerr and company plan to play him in short five- to six-minute bursts at first and eventually gear him to a 32-34 minute workload in the upcoming weeks.
