Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry didn't have any problem with pulling off a futile inbound pass off Chicago Bulls swingman David Nwaba with only a whisker of a second left in the first quarter of Wednesday's tilt.

Time expired shortly after the ball made contact with Nwaba and Curry headed back to the bench along with the rest of the team, still visibly frustrated.

“Uhhh. 0.1 seconds on the clock. Pretty smart way to end the Quarter if you ask me,” said Curry on Twitter, replying to a fan that criticized his decision-making. “But what do I know? I’d tell the kids to do the same thing.”

For the sake of context, the Warriors have just given up an offensive rebound to Denzel Valentine; the free-throw shooter (one of the biggest cardinal sins of basketball), allowing him to score on the play.

Then a careless ball-handling mistake resulted in a turnover by Curry and a consequent score for Nikola Mirotic — allowing the Bulls to close out the quarter in a 12-0 run and lead 40-38, despite a subpar shooting display.

Curry had Kevin Durant available on a lob pass for this inbound, but the former got himself pleading to the referees for a foul call on Mirotic, which went unheard. That seems to have sparked his decision to take it out on Nwaba with that pass off his back, that while relatively harmless, just looks like poor sportsmanship.

The Warriors point guard had 19 points in the first quarter and finished with 30 on the night, as Golden State survived a late scare to bag a 119-112 win and tie a franchise-record 14 straight road wins.
