Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams said he has nothing against the L.A. Clippers' C.J. Williams.

In one moment during their Thursday night matchup at Staples Center, Adams collided with Williams and landed on his knees with less than three minutes before halftime. Afterwards, Paul George was able to salvage the broken play and drained a 3-pointer, but Adams was visibly upset and went straight to Williams.

The Thunder big man however made it clear that his actions on the court meant nothing and that he just got carried away with the drama.

“I love the guy, I have nothing against him,” he said.

Indeed, Steven Adams was able to dust off the drama as he helped the Thunder top the Clippers 127-117. The Kiwi international is not known for being a trash talker, despite being gifted with pain-inflicting physicality, as Adams do know when to bite back.

Adams scored 12 points, grabbed nine boards, and dished out two assists to compliment George's 31 points and Russell Westbrook's triple-double performance (29 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists).

Blake Griffin's 24 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists alongside DeAndre Jordan's 26 points and 17 rebounds were all for naught as the Clippers snapped their five-game winning streak.

The Thunder are now 2-0 on the road after demolishing the Los Angeles Lakers the other day to the tune of 133-96, they will wrap their trip on Sunday when they face the Phoenix Suns.

The Clippers, meanwhile, will next face defending champion Golden State Warriors, who are gunning for their 10th-straight road win on Sunday.
