The offseason has typically provided players with free time to spend with their family and explore other ventures away from the game.

For Phoenix Suns veteran point guard Eric Bledsoe, it has rewarded him with some time to come up with a fun trend on social media aptly called the ‘Dunk on your Wife Challenge.”

It will be interesting to see if any other players choose to take part in it as this could lead to many more hilarious videos of NBA players posterizing their significant others on a lowered rim. At the very least, it should lead to many fans taking part in the challenge.

As for Eric Bledsoe, he is set to enter his eighth season in the league as one of the primary pieces of the puzzle for the Suns. Although there were reports about the team potentially looking to move him in a trade, he has remained with Phoenix with two years left on his five-year, $70 million deal.

Bledsoe is coming off arguably his best statistical campaign with career highs of 21.1 points and 6.3 assists along with 4.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. He was one of five players to average those numbers joining the likes of James Harden, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and Kyle Lowry. The only other player in Suns history to put up similar stats in a single season was Hall of Famer Gail Goodrich.
