Call it coincidence but Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul has been different ever since he switched up his diet and went all-in on the plant-based lifestyle. The 36-year-old has been on a full-vegan diet since 2019 and his on-court performance has been incredible ever since the drastic change.

According to StatMuse, the 11-time All-Star's transformation since going vegan has been insane. After averaging career lows in his last season with the Houston Rockets in 2018-2019, Paul switched to a plant-based diet and things have looked way different. Since progressing to a more sustainable diet, the Suns' 16-year vet has been on an absolute tear.

Are we ready to call CP3 the Meatless Mamba?

Since 2019, Paul has been one of the many NBA superstars that have been proponents of having a healthier, more sustainable diet. The Suns veteran invested in a plant-based food company called Beyond Meat alongside other NBA stars like JaVale McGee of the Denver Nuggets and DeAndre Jordan of the Brooklyn Nets.

“I do feel really good right now. I think the biggest change for me is the aches and pains of the season. I started working out and training and I got to Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and I thought, am I not lifting hard enough? Am I not training hard enough? Why am I not achy? I ain’t trying to say you have to stay with it, but give it a try.” Paul said back in 2020, a few months after making the switch.

With the way things are going, it's hard to argue against the Suns' court general. The Plant-based Point God has been on an absolute tear this postseason. Paul has now successfully led his young Suns franchise to the WCF after munching on the Denver Nuggets.
