The NBA 2K Players Tournament gave fans plenty of thrills and spills, but only one player can win in the tournament. The last man standing turned out to be Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker after an entertaining duel against teammate Deandre Ayton in the final.

Both ESPN and the official NBA 2K Twitter accounts congratulated the shooting guard of the Suns for beating Ayton in the friendly tournament. The cash prize of $100,000 will be donated to a charity of his choice.

Booker had quite a trip to make it to the finals. He faced off against Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. in the first round where he beat him, 85-75. He squared off against another rookie in Wizards forward Rui Hachimura in the second round. Book easily dominated the Japanese rook, 71-55 to face Montrezl Harrell in the semi-final.

The Los Angeles Clippers guard was a tough cookie to crack for Booker, but he managed to sweep the series to make it to the final. Booker used the Clippers and the Raptors in order to take down Harrell.

Ayton also had an interesting journey to the finals. Ayton beat Zach LaVine in the first round after a low-scoring 57-41 final score. Ayton then put his scoring gloves on as he overwhelmed Trae Young to the score of 73-66.

Patrick Beverley gave everything he could to throw Ayton off his game but wasn't able to do anything to the big man who used the Nets and the Suns to sweep the series, 2-0.

The two Suns teammates had a great time in the final. Booker went with the Rockets in the first game while Ayton chose the Lakers. The Rockets' smallball was able to overwhelm LA in-game, ending in Booker winning the first game, 72-62.

The second game saw Ayton try to get even with the Bucks, while Booker threw a curveball with his selection of the Nuggets. His tactic worked as he won the game and the tournament, 74-62.
