Yes, Jamal Crawford is still playing professional basketball. Yes, the 38-year-old guard will be in uniform for the Phoenix Suns on Sunday evening against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The seasoned sharpshooter is now officially slated to make his return to the Suns' lineup after a five-game absence, according to the team, via Gerald Bourguet of FanSided. Jamal Crawford has been hindered by knee soreness, which ultimately caused a bit of a lengthy stint on the sideline.

However, despite the Suns adding Crawford back to the rotation for the Sunday bout against the Timberwolves, Phoenix will unfortunately be without rookie center Deandre Ayton and forward Richaun Holmes. The first-year phenom in Ayton is currently battling a left ankle sprain while Holmes is nursing a sprained right foot.

Crawford, now a member of the Suns after spending last season with the Timberwolves, has already appeared in 37 regular season games for Phoenix, none of which have been starts. Continuing to serve as a vital contributor off the bench — which Crawford has seemingly made a career of doing — the longtime NBA guard is putting up 6.5 points, 1.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists across 17.2 minutes per contest this 2018-19 campaign.

For his NBA career as a whole, Crawford is averaging 14.7 points to accompany his 2.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. In addition to suiting up for both the Suns and Timberwolves, he has also made played for the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers and LA Clippers over the years. Crawford originally broke into the NBA ranks back in 2000 as a member of the Bulls.
