Veteran guard Eric Bledsoe has found himself at a crossroad in his career with the Phoenix Suns where his time in the league has been put on a momentary pause.

According to Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington, Washington Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall weighed in on the situation as he revealed that he's spoken to Bledsoe during the process and gave further insight into the 27-year-old's mind frame throughout it all.

“I talk to him all the time,” Wall said. “He's just sitting back and being a professional. He can't do nothing about it. He doesn't want to be there. He wants to go somewhere else. It's kind of all in the Suns' hands and where they want to trade him to and what they want to get back for him. He's still working out every day and being a dad at home.”

This has hit a point to where the Suns will ultimately decide his fate moving forward as the team has continued to look for a feasible trade for Bledsoe. The Detroit Pistons have emerged in the conversation offering point guard Reggie Jackson and a first-round pick, but Phoenix wants a third team to get involved to work a deal out.

The Milwaukee Bucks were also briefly mentioned as a potential landing spot, but things haven't progressed to a serious point between both sides. It is still a developing situation that could find a resolution at any moment.

In the meantime, all Bledsoe can do is wait for things to sort themselves out. He is in the fourth year of his five-year, $70 million deal that includes no player or team option.
