The Milwaukee Bucks convincingly took Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Sunday, 120-100. After the game, Phoenix Suns head coach Monty Williams wasn't too happy about his team's loss and he decided to make his feelings known about it.
Addressing the media after his team's disappointing defeat, Williams could not help but point out the glaring free-throw discrepancy between the two teams in Game 3:
Monty Williams: "We had 16 free throws tonight. One person had 17."

That one person he was referring to was Giannis Antetokounmpo, who went 13-of-17 from the line on Sunday night. The former back-to-back MVP was relatively efficient from the stripe in Game 3, and perhaps the lack of a distracting countdown from the home crowd on each of his trips to the line played a factor in his success rate.
Article Continues BelowAs Williams pointed out, Phoenix was awarded just 16 attempts from the charity stripe all night long, while the Bucks went to the line a total of 26 times on the evening. The Suns shot-caller actually started his interview by saying that he did not want to criticize the officiating in Game 3, but apparently, he just had to get it out:
"I'm not going to get into complaining publicly about fouls," said Monty Williams, who then pointed out the free throw discrepancy.

The Suns were unable to hold off the Bucks in this one, as Milwaukee looked to cut down the series deficit. Phoenix was up 2-0 in the series entering Game 3, and it was absolutely a must-win game for Giannis and co.
Game 4 is scheduled for Wednesday with the Bucks still maintaining homecourt advantage for that pivotal contest. After Williams' comments here, you can be sure that all eyes will be on the officiating for Game 4.
