The Phoenix Suns are expected to be an aggressive team this summer in free agency. They have been going through a rebuild and now that they have the new coach in Igor Kokoskov they are hoping that they can start to see some of their results of the rebuild.

The Suns have a lot of young players that have a real place in the league. Unfortunately for them, they just haven't had a ton of veterans who can provide leadership on and off the court to take that next step forward.

Devin Booker, Josh Jackson, Dragan Bender, and Marquese Chris are all players that are young and expected to play a big role in future years. They also have Elfrid Payton who they can re-sign this summer.

Now the next step is to get the veterans around the young guys that can help improve their game, and help them play better team basketball. At times last year, it really looked like it was five individuals playing on the court rather than a team.

James Jones was on Bickley & Marotta talking about the future, and he said that they want to bring in guys who can provide shooting this offseason.

“You'll see us make moves and be strategic to bring in the right guys, but we won't bring in names for the sake of bringing in names.” James Jones said.

There are always shooters available in free agency, and one guy that they might want to look at is Jamal Crawford, who is not only a great locker room guy, but also a guy who can provide a ton of support in the locker room.
