Phoenix Suns center Tyson Chandler has been involved as part of a trade package alongside estranged point guard Eric Bledsoe, one that the organization could decide to pull the trigger on at any minute.

The franchise has made every conscious effort to keep this team as young as possible, trying to grow through their talent with limited veteran assistance. Yet this hasn't worried the 35-year-old, who has handled it as professionally as can be.

“At the end of the day I’m a professional and this is my team,” Chandler said, according to Scott Bordow of The Arizona Republic. “So until anything changes, I’m going to give them everything I’ve got every single day.”

“Just like everybody else, I hear the rumblings. I hear my name being involved in things and trade rumors but I’m at the point where I couldn’t care less. I go out there and do my job until the time somebody tells me different. Then I’ll have to address it.”

Tyson Chandler still holds the starting spot in the middle for Phoenix, but has only played 25 minutes per game through this season, as he did similarly from last season with youngsters Alex Len and Dragan Bender eating into the 7-foot-1 center's workload. Yet the former Defensive Player of the Year is keeping his cards straight.

“And they can have a conversation with me if they felt like my time was done here and it’s time to go in a different direction,” Chandler said. “It’s a business. It’s not personal.”

Interim Suns coach Jay Triano has praised Tyson Chandler for his professionalism, noting that the big man has “done a great job of helping the young guys understand what the NBA is all about. I’m lucky to have him as a player on this team.”

He'll surely garner interest from other teams. So far this season, Chandler has managed to grab 9.2 rebounds per game despite sharing time with Len.
