The Phoenix SunsDragan Bender may still be a rookie in the NBA, but he is not new to basketball as he has been playing professionally since 2013. With that being said, it is expected that he knows how to pass the ball.

But during his team's preseason game against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night, the 7-foot Croatian struggled to make a simple pass and was forced into a turnover. Bleacher Report captured the moment and shared it via their Twitter account:

It may not be too long before we see this play on Shaquille O'Neal‘s segment on Inside the NBA as Bender at least committed two traveling violations and even double-dribbled. It is puzzling why he was not able to pass the ball when he had the chance to do so. We may never know what his reason is, but if there's one thing certain, this can be considered as one of the more bizarre plays of the preseason so far.

The good news for the Phoenix faithful is that this happened in an exhibition game and maybe jitters just got the best of him. The Suns play two more games before the start of the season, and the 18-year-old can use them both to get more familiar on how it is to play at the highest level and shake off all the nervousness.
