Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns just made an amazing circus shot in their game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Booker might have felt some contact and was anticipating a foul call. Perhaps out of instinct, he threw the ball up, hoping to end up in the free throw line. Though the play ended up as a no-call, Booker was still able to come up with a replay-worthy play.

The 22-year-old Booker is seen as one of the league's best offensive talents. In his fourth season in the league, the former 13th overall pick is averaging 24.6 points on 45.2 percent shooting from the field, along with 6.7 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game.

Last Thursday, in their 120-106 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, Booker became the fifth youngest player in NBA history to tally 5,000 career points. After the game, Booker shared his thoughts on the record:

“I’m just at a point in my career where I just want to be a winner,” Booker said, per Cody Cunningham of NBA.com. “I’ve done the individual accolades countless of numbers of times. So for me, it’s figuring out how to win and we’re not doing that right now. So, until we start winning, that’s when all those things will matter to me.”

Time can only tell when the Suns will start winning. They've got a great centerpiece in Booker and a few other young talents. To say the least, the future looks bright for the Suns.
