Denver Nuggets’ back-up center Mason Plumlee is a decent rim protector, but Phoenix Suns forward Kelly Oubre Jr. remains unfazed as he took it right to him in this amazing play.

In the Suns’ home game versus the visiting Nuggets on Sunday, the lanky 6’7 swingman used a couple of nice crossovers to escape the defense of his initial defender Monte Morris.

He succeeded to get free after using a screen from Check Diallo and attacked the rim with ill intent. He was met by Plumlee at the apex, but Oubre cocked the ball back and finished with a left-handed rim-rocker over the 6’11 big.

Oubre, meanwhile, is having a career year in his second season in Arizona, tallying 18.1 points, 6.1, rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.4 blocks for head coach Monty Williams. He has improved his efficiency from the field, making 46.2 of his attempts from the field and 34.4 from downtown.
