Super Bowl 56 is here and that means there is just one last game to show how well you can draft players. The Los Angeles Rams will be hosting the Cincinnati Bengals for all the marbles. FanDuel has all kinds of different contests for you to choose from. Take a look at the ClutchPoints cheat sheet to prepare for who you should consider drafting.

There will be quite a few players in this game that could put up a solid fantasy performance. The main position many will focus on is quarterback because of how elite Matt Stafford and Joe Burrow are. The receiver and running back position will be filled with a group of players that can really dominate. The Bengals and Rams both have elite skill players offensively, but the tight end position will be tricky to decide this week. Let's dive into what to expect when you draft a FanDuel fantasy lineup.

Super Bowl 56 DFS Cheat Sheet

Quarterbacks

Matt Stafford will be playing in his first-ever Super Bowl, becoming the oldest No. 1 overall pick at quarterback to play in the big game. Stafford enters the weekend with a ($15,500) salary. The Bengals rank 32nd in opponent rank so that is a great sign for Stafford. The veteran is the higher-priced quarterback between him and Burrow, but it isn't by much. He has put up at least 19 fantasy points in his last four games, and they have all been against a top-15 defense with two being in the top-4.

Stafford completed 31 of 45 passes for 337 yards with two touchdowns and one interception during the Rams' 20-17 win over the 49ers in their NFC Championship Game. He also rushed five times for eight yards, so that shows that he attempts to try and gain some extra fantasy points. He will be targeting Cooper Kupp, Odell Beckham Jr., and Van Jefferson quite a bit on Sunday. The Bengals' defense is elite, but the Rams themselves contain a much scarier defense. I think Stafford has the advantage and will likely be the favorite choice. The Bengals rank 21st in pass rush so they shouldn't threaten Stafford much.

Joe Burrow comes into the weekend with a ($15,000) salary which is clearly not far from Stafford. Burrow is the third-highest option behind Stafford and Kupp. FanDuel predicts Burrow to be playing with his back against the wall a majority of the game. the reason being is because the Rams have the No. 1 opponent rank. The Bengals are dead last but the Rams are the best. That should be interesting. Burrow accumulated 21.5 fantasy points against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game according to FanDuel.

Burrow completed 23 of 38 passes for 250 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in Sunday's 27-24 win over Kansas City. They got off to a slow start, but the second half was all there's as they came back to defeat the Chiefs in overtime. Burrow will have a lot of weapons to choose from. The Bengals offense is one of the best in the NFL but they will have a tough task on Sunday. Burrow will likely play well regardless because of the talented player he is. According to Pro Football Focus, Burrow has an 88.4 overall grade against the cover-3 coverage which is first among quarterbacks.

Running Backs

The Rams will feature two running backs for the majority of the contest. Cam Akers enters with a ($10,000) salary and Sony Michel a ($7,500) salary. Both of them have decent value at that price because we have seen their great production in the past. The entire Bengals defense is 32nd in opponent rank at every position, so anyone could break out in this game. I believe the Rams will try and throw the ball more often than run it. But even if that s the case, both of these backs will get enough carries to try and control the time of possession. The Rams will try and establish a run game early.

There are concerns for these two backs on the other hand. Akers hasn't really produced much since his return from his injury. He should get some carries in this game as they will need anyone they can get, but at $10k, it's tough to count on him to produce with that price. Michel has been their primary guy during the playoffs. He, of course, hasn't produced much either but we have seen some glimpses. If you are looking to choose between the two, I would consider Michel because of the price despite Akers possibly getting the start. If you are considering Stafford, then these two don’t seem like anyone you want to pair him with.

Joe Mixon will be the primary back for the Bengals as we all figured he would be. Former Oklahoma Sooner Samaje Perine played well against the Chiefs as he scored on a 41-yard screen. The issue with Perine is he didn't receive a single carry. If he gets any carries in the super bowl, it will be probably three max. His price is ($7,000) to start but shouldn't be chosen in any lineups unless you are making multiple. Mixon has great value at ($12,500) as he is the fourth-highest-priced player on the board. He will likely be considered for many lineups as he has put up at least 12 fantasy points in three of his last four games. Mixon had 21 carries for 88 yards in the win over the Chiefs. He didn't find the endzone but should in Super Bowl 56.

The concern for this position is both teams will want to pass the ball. The receiving room is stacked and the quarterbacks have the skillset to win this game in the air. If any back is to be chosen, it's Mixon and either one of Michel or Akers to try and fulfill the best lineup possible. FanDuel should consider lowering the price on Akers if they want him to be a more picked option.

Wide Receivers

The Rams contain the highest-priced player in Cooper Kupp ($16,000). Kupp comes in as the 2021-22 fantasy player of the year after one of the greatest seasons in NFL history. Following behind Kupp are Odell Beckham Jr. ($10,500) and Van Jefferson ($7,000). I like the value on all three of those receivers as Kupp is clearly the favorite. Kupp will likely receive 10+ targets and should be a lock in most lineups. It's going to be weird seeing the best lineup not have Kupp on it. Beckham Jr. has played well since arriving in LA and is a great option here. He comes in after Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase and in front of Bengals' Tee Higgins. According to PFF, Beckham owns a 20% target share over his last four games and has finished with more than 59 receiving yards in back-to-back contests as a result.

The Bengals have an elite receiving core. Each of the three main guys can go off for a great performance. Led by Chase, Higgins, and Tyler Boyd should find themselves open quite a bit on Sunday. Rams' star cornerback Jalen Ramsey will likely be on Chase a majority of the game unless he's in the slot. Higgins and Boyd have proven to get the job done when Burrow targets them so it's really tough to figure out who will get the most targets. Chase enters the weekend with a ($12,000) salary. Higgins ($10,500) and Boyd ($8,500) arent find behind. All three could go either way so it depends on who you choose for the rest of your lineup to consider here. If you choose the two highest options in Stafford and Kupp, then maybe Boyd or Higgins can round out your lineup. Higgins has outplayed Chase in a lot of games this season so the fact that he is cheaper could be a good sign. The reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year, however, will be on his game on Sunday as he and Burrow have great chemistry.

Tight Ends

This is a position that will not be a factor much at all. Tyler Higbee ($8,000) has not progressed over the last few weeks and will likely not play in Super Bowl 56. That leaves Kendall Blanton ($8,000) to step up and try and contribute. I would not consider choosing him. The only way he plays well is if he finds himself open in the RedZone because none of the plays should be game planed around him. If Higbee somehow does play, he shouldn't contribute much after suffering an MCL sprain.

Bengals tight end C.J Uzomah also has an MCL sprain. The good news for him is that he is set to play on Sunday. He is a major part of their offense even though he doesn't receive many targets. Don't expect Uzomah ($7,500) to be much of a factor in the Super Bowl unless he is open in the RedZone as well. Drew Sample is at ($6,500) as a cheap option in case you need a filler. Neither Bengals' tight end should make a difference on Sunday as I would avoid them both.

Kickers

Matt Gay ($9,500) is one of the best kickers in the NFL. He's the higher-priced of the two kickers between him and Evan McPherson ($9,000). McPherson is turning into a star himself as he is nailing every kick he attempts. Evan has at least 15 fantasy points in his last three games and I would seriously consider him over Gay and even as a flex option over some tight ends and running backs. If he is going to get you 15 points, that is good enough to be in flex positions.
