The #Vikings are putting Aaron Jones on injured reserve with the hamstring strain he sustained on Sunday. The move will keep Jones out through the bye week, and clear room on the active roster for Desmond Ridder. Cam Akers could be a practice squad elevation on Sunday.

Jordan Mason moves up to the top of the depth chart, with Zavier Scott and now Cam Akers behind him. Vikings lose their QB1 and RB1 for at least a few weeks. We will see how long C Ryan Kelly is out, and LT Christian Darrisaw is not a lock for Sunday, either. Phew…
