The defending Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had one of the most successful offseason's in recent history. After many maneuvers, the front office was able to secure the entire starting lineup for the offense and defense for next year as well. All 22 starters are gearing up to strike lightning twice.

After bringing back the entire starting core and then some, the Buccaneers entered the 2021 NFL Draft searching for depth pieces. None of their rookies will likely start, but should have some chances to rotate into the lineup throughout the season.

The reigning champions have everything going in their favor right now as there are virtually no weaknesses on the roster. The front office did a great job in the draft, as the players they selected all have the potential to play an important role in the future.

Tampa Bay had seven total selections in the draft, using four of them for defensive players. The Buccaneers' defense was what won them the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs, so the team made sure to supplement their defensive unit. With that said, here are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2021 NFL draft grades for every pick.

1.32 Joe Tryon, LB: A

Joe Tryon is one of those players that slowly rose up the rankings throughout the scouting process. With a ton of edge rushers in this class, Tryon proved to be one of the top available in the draft. At 6-5, 259 pounds, the former Washington Husky has the size to be a legitimate starter in the NFL. He'll be playing behind one of the best veteran pass rushers in the league, Jason Pierre-Paul, to start his career. Tryon will have opportunities to play this season, but it will be sporadic. Look for him to make a huge impact in his sophomore year in 2022.

2.64 Kyle Trask, QB: C+

It wasn't a surprise the Buccaneers took a quarterback, but it was odd who they selected. Kyle Trask has been a topic of discussion, as nobody seems to agree on whether or not Trask is a capable quarterback or not at the next level. The good news is that Trask is capable of getting the ball to the best players on his team. We saw that time and again during his time in Florida throwing to Kyle Pitts and Kadarius Toney repeatedly. He'll be learning behind Tom Brady for at least one year, likely more, before he takes over as the possible starting quarterback. It really depends on when Brady retires at this point.

3.95 Robert Hainsey, OG: B-

Coming out of Notre Dame, the Buccaneers drafted a smart offensive lineman who has some solid experience at the collegiate level. Robert Hainsey proved to be one of the most consistent guards in the nation last year and proved his worth during the Senior Bowl. He's a solid depth piece for the Buccaneers right now but could develop into a starter down the road.

4.129 Jaelon Darden, WR: A

Jaelon Darden might just be the hidden gem of the NFL draft. The North Texas superstar wide receiver went berserk in his final season with the Mean Green, totaling 74 receptions, 1,190 receiving yards, and 19 touchdowns in just nine games. He joins a stacked receiver group in Tampa Bay, so we might not see him much until at least the 2022 season. Either way, Darden has all the potential in the world to be a legitimate wide receiver in the NFL.

5.176 K.J. Britt, LB: B

K.J. Britt is an elite run-stopper at the linebacker position. The guy has an uncanny ability to find the right hole and stop the ball carrier dead in his tracks. Britt played downhill while also serving as a leader for the Auburn Tigers during his time in college. With his high-level run-stopping abilities coupled with his leadership, the Buccaneers found the perfect fit for their defense in the fifth round. He could be a valuable asset for Tampa Bay's defense on third and short conversions and goal-line work.

7.251 Chris Wilcox, CB: C+

One thing is for sure, Chris Wilcox is a superior athlete. At 6-2, 195 pounds, Wilcox surprised scouts after running an (unofficial) 40-yard dash time in just 4.31 seconds. The BYU prospect likely won't make an impact on the defense, however, his size and speed make him an excellent candidate for the special teams unit.

7.259 Grant Stuard, LB: C+

Grant Stuard is a bit on the stocky side. At 5-11, 230 pounds, Stuard is a bulldog at the linebacker position. He reacts well to the snap but doesn't seem to have the best play recognition. Similar to Chris Wilcox, Grant Stuard will have a chance to earn a spot on the roster playing for special teams.
