It was an emotional day at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday as Duke Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski coached his final home game at the hallowed arena. Unfortunately, Hubert Davis' North Carolina Tar Heels spoiled the party, coming away with an impressive 94-81 road victory over the fourth-ranked Blue Devils.

Emotions were high, and this spilled into the postgame handshake line, where Davis got stiffed by multiple Duke coaches. (What's up with all the handshake line drama these days?) Nolan Smith shook hands with Davis but looked away while doing so, while Chris Carrawell just totally blew off the Tar Heels head coach:

Davis was asked about it afterward and gave this response, via The News & Observer:

“I don’t know what that’s about,” Davis said. “I didn’t play against him, I don’t know him personally.”

Carrawell said he blew off Davis because he didn't shake hands with Duke coaches before the game, though there was a pregame handshake between Davis and Coach K. There was a lot of pregame hubbub due to honoring Krzyzewski, which could have played a part in this whole fiasco.

Whatever happened, it's never a surprise to see some bad blood brewing when it comes to Duke and North Carolina. Davis played for the Tar Heels and was an assistant under Roy Williams before taking over for the legendary coach, while Carrawell played for the Blue Devils and has been an assistant for several seasons. These two know all about the Duke-North Carolina rivalry, and this just added another layer to it.

We'll see if these teams meet again in the ACC Tournament.
