The Houston Texans exceeded everyone's expectations last season as former Ohio State football quarterback CJ Stroud led Houston to the second round of the playoffs. A 45-14 drubbing of the Cleveland Browns in the first round cemented Stroud's status as one of the most dangerous and explosive passers in the National Football League and now Stroud is giving himself a pat on the back with his inclusion on a list of top five NFL QBs.

Stroud's top five 2023 QB rankings, revealed
Stroud's rankings include reigning Super Bowl champ Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs at number one followed by Lamar Jackson, whose Ravens lost to Mahomes' Chiefs in the AFC Championship Gane.
Stroud ranked himself third followed by Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills and Stroud debate partner Micah Parsons' teammate Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys. The rankings were based on last season's results.
