The Madden NFL 21 ratings are out and Deshaun Watson of the Houston Texans isn't happy with his. EA Sports just recently revealed the player ratings for the upcoming video game set to be released by the next month.
The Texans star quarterback ranked as the eight overall QB with a rather sub-par player rating of 86. Watson had no words for his new player rating. He simply tagged Madden's official Twitter account in a tweet paired with a face palm and crying-laughing emoji.
We feel you, Deshaun. Texans fans do, too.
Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes led the QB ratings with a 99 overall rating with Seattle Seahawks' Russel Wilson at second with 97. 2019 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson of the Jacksonville Jaguars was at third with a 94 rating and New Orleans Saints Drew Brees' 93 rating was good for the fourth spot. Newly acquired Tampa Bay Buccaneer Tom Brady rounded out the top five with a 90.
Watson was in the second half of the top 10, sure to annoy Texans fans. Aaron Rodgers (89) of the Green Bay Packers and Matt Ryan (87) of the Atlanta Falcons came in ahead of him.
The Texans signal-caller did improve his ratings from last year's 82 but surely, his impressive 2019 regular season should've earned him at least a 90. Though his passing stats from last season wasn't in the top five in the league, he the 24 year old had an unquestionable impact whenever he took the field.
Watson was key to winning the Texans a second consecutive AFC South title last season. He had five amazing game-winning drives. The two-time Pro Bowler has been improving year on year and has proven to be one of the best passers in the NFL today.
