The Miami Dolphins supposed trade offer for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson has been revealed, and it is quite shocking.

According to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, the offer would have been massive.

Three first round picks and two second round picks in the NFL Draft would be one of the biggest hauls in NFL trade history. That is astounding considering the off-the-field issues Deshaun Watson is currently facing.

Granted, the Dolphins included the caveat that Watson would need to settle the 22 sexual assault cases. But it's still mesmerizing that there is this much interest in a player dealing with those circumstances. Then again, talent always seem to be what wins out in the NFL.

Watson, prior to this scandal exploding, had become one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Last season was arguably the best of his pro career. He finished with over 4,800 yards passing, 33 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Those were all career-best marks for Watson.

He did that despite the lack of talent at the skill position around him. The leading rusher on the team was aging David Johnson, with 691 yards.

Will Fuller and Randall Cobb each missed a handful of games with injuries.

That's the player Miami was hoping to acquire. A quarterback that can carry a team on his shoulders, make all of the throws, make plays with his legs, and lead a team.

Reportedly, the Houston Texans pulled out of the deal because they believe they might be able to get more for Watson after his civil suits have been handled. That is really bold thinking.
