Houston Texans star quarterback Deshaun Watson has been the talk of the league since the calendar flipped to 2021 after he expressed frustrations with the organization. Then came the allegations against Watson, which then led to a lack of trade partners due to the pure uncertainty regarding Watson's future in the league.

Nonetheless, Watson's rumored trade destination is reportedly the Denver Broncos, according to Denver safety Kareem Jackson. In an appearance on the Catchin' Fades podcast with Aqib Talib, Jackson said that Denver is where Watson wants to play.

Jackson spent the first chunk of his NFL career with the Texans before joining the Broncos and has a good relationship with Watson. However, NFL Network insider In Rapoport gave his take on the situation regarding a possible Watson blockbuster trade.

“Deshaun Watson has been getting recruited by former teammates and countless players across the NFL, and he remains open to several options, including the #Broncos. But I don’t believe Denver is “where he wants to be.” Just one possible spot.”

Very interesting, right? Deshaun Watson– when on the field– is one of the best quarterbacks in the game and a consensus top-five choice at the position. However, the ongoing legal issues have scared teams off, and for good reason. There is a chance Watson is suspended for 2021, or 2022, or even more. However, there is no concrete timeline and he very well could take the field come September.

If Watson does go to Denver, the Broncos would immediately become a Super Bowl contender in a division that also features Justin Herbert and Patrick Mahomes. The weapons at his disposal there, namely Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, and Noah Fant would give Watson a ton of choices.

This is definitely something to keep an eye on, especially with Denver being a possible trade destination for disgruntled Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers if he gets dealt. Make no mistake, the Broncos aren't satisfied with their quarterback room, and only time will tell if Watson ends up getting dealt to the Broncos, suspended, or both.
