The Milwaukee Bucks have to make some kind of move to improve their team with Giannis Antetokounmpo's impending free agency. Chris Paul’s name has been mentioned the most in regards to Milwaukee, but putting actually together a trade package is a little more difficult.

On the Locked On Thunder Podcast, host Rylan Stiles explains how a Chris Paul trade would work with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Rylan Stiles: So you look at what the Bucks have to offer, and I think that it would be pretty clear… of these players, the Thunder would need Donte DiVincenzo. I mean, who else? They're not going to trade Khris Middleton as the main piece. I don't think he’s involved in this trade. I think that you're going to have a guy like George Hill, as part of that salary deal.

So with this Milwaukee Bucks trade, you're gonna have to match the salaries. And I don't think Milwaukee gives up Khris Middleton, not for Chris Paul. And you're looking at George Hill and Eric Bledsoe. George Hill makes 9.5 million. Eric Bledsoe makes 16.8 million. And then you throw in Donte DiVincenzo.

So, the Thunder get back for Chris Paul… George Hill, Eric Bledsoe, DiVincenzo, and a 2020 1st-round pick from the Bucks, although that pick is owed via the Pacers. So you're going to move up a little bit from where the Bucks originally picked.

But Donte DiVincenzo is their only trade piece that's on the roster right now. And to take back that Bledsoe deal and that George Hill deal just for Donte DiVincenzo and a 1st-round pick this year, which is is right behind yours. So you'd be picking at 24 and 25 in this year's draft. Is that enough for Chris Paul? I don't, I don't know. I don't think so. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself of what Chris Paul's value could be.
