The Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets are preparing for a second-round series in the Eastern Conference playoff side of the NBA Playoffs bracket. The Bucks surprisingly swept the Miami Heat and the Nets took care of the Boston Celtics in Game 5. Now, the Bucks and Nets square off in what should be the Eastern Conference Finals, as both teams have a realistic shot to bring home an NBA championship come July.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks are playing terrific basketball and guys like Bryn Forbes have stepped up in huge ways. One hiccup for the Bucks in the past years has been their struggles to take that next step and get to the NBA Finals. If they fall short again, it is likely the end of the road for head coach Mike Budenholzer.

As for the Nets, it is no surprise that they are widely pegged as favorites to win it all. The talented, insane trio of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and James Harden is one of the best Big 3's in the history of the league, at least from an offensive standpoint.

It's a shame, because– with all due respect to the Philadelphia 76ers– this series should have been the Conference Finals, much like the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers series in the West. Instead, the winner of the Nets-Bucks series will have one more team to face before even winning the Eastern Conference.

Nonetheless, despite all the love for the Sixers, the latest injury to Joel Embiid will ultimately be too much for them to overcome. Even if they can get past Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks, the Sixers will have a tough task against either the Bucks or the Nets.

As far as the Western Conference goes, no idea who is going to come out of that side, largely due to some key injuries to seemingly every team left in the West. So, in a way, the Nets vs Bucks series- the Eastern Conference Semifinals series- will be the winner of the NBA title in July.

For entertainment's sake, hopefully this series will go a full seven games.
