It's never wise to add more fuel to Michael Jordan's already competitive nature. In the latest episode of “The Last Dance” aired on Sunday, His Airness revealed that he made it his point to outclass Phoenix Suns guard Dan Majerle out of spite for then Chicago Bulls' GM Jerry Krause.

Majerle had the unfortunate task of trying to slow down Jordan when the Phoenix Suns took on the Chicago Bulls in the 1993 NBA Finals.

Prior to the start of the series, Krause spoke highly of Majerle's effectiveness as a two-way player, which clearly irked Michael.

“I knew that Jerry Krause loved Dan Majerle, and just because Krause liked him was enough for me. You think he's a great defensive player, okay fine I'm going to show he that he's not,” Michael Jordan revealed in “The Last Dance.”

To be fair, the 6-foot-6 Majerle was indeed a talented stopper at the time. He had the same height as Jordan and was quite an athlete as well. Majerle was even named to the All-Defensive Second Team in 1991 and 1993.

But those accolades did not mean much when he went up against Jordan. MJ went on to average a ridiculous 41.0 points during the six-game series en route to his third straight championship and Finals MVP award.

Jordan's mentality, meanwhile, just proves why he is indeed the greatest basketball player to ever grace the hardwood. It wasn't enough that the whole world knew he was the best player on the court.

He went out there and humiliated the competition every chance he could, and making Jerry Krause eat crow was just the icing on the cake.

Furthermore, Jordan and Krause's not-so-amicable relationship has been highlighted in the earlier part of “The Last Dance.” For sure, we'll see more of this feud in the upcoming episodes.
