The NBA had one of its most explosive free agency periods in quite some time.

This wasn't all about the roster changes teams made to improve, not this time.

The NBA signed a $24 billion dollar contract deal with television networks, which increased the entire league's salary cap significantly.

For that reason many players opted out of their old deals in search of a more lucrative contract, and many of them got exactly what they wanted.

Some of the biggest deals in NBA history were signed this summer, and this is only the first year of a rising salary cap.

Let's take a look at the league's Top 10 Salaries, and the ridiculous pay players make per game.

LeBron James signed a three-year deal worth $100 million. Mike Conley signed a five-year $153 million deal .

Damian Lillard earned himself a $20 million bonus due to the Derrick Rose Clause, which nets him among the highest paid players in the league, and Kevin Durant signed a deal for two-years at $53 million with the Warriors.

An NBA game is roughly 48 minutes, which lasts about two and one-half hours including halftime, timeouts, commercials, among others.

How much are the above players making for playing basketball in a two-hour span per game?

According to Darren Rovell, these salaries are ridiculous high for such a short amount of time, and it's hard to imagine that the numbers will only increase.
