LeBron James isn't the only player that is special enough to get billboards. Maybe not for the same reason but nonetheless others have begun to join in the fray.

James has seen billboards with catchy phrases not created by any teams in particular since that would entail a tampering fine, but by different people, fans of the city who have hopes of recruiting him when this summer's free agency begins.

New York, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia have been among the cities looking to get a crack at King James to bolster their chances to contend now, but the actual happening is for another day.

Oklahoma City Thunder fans have had their say although they haven't made a pitch for James. They are starting their own swoon for All-Star forward Paul George who is also a pending free agent this summer, who has been rumored to want to get a taste of playing back in his hometown of Los Angeles, and be one of the team's featured star players to help bring back notoriety to the city and team.

Thunder fans liked what they saw from George in Game 1 of the NBA playoffs against the Utah Jazz after ending the season struggling with his shot. They decided to post their own billboard for some encouragement and likely a little nudge to show support in hopes that he stays, and realizes that he has something great right where he is.

George has never had a particular nickname, but in hopes that he likes it, they'll try hard to make it stick. It will take massive efforts from George if the Thunder hope to advance through to the later rounds of the Western Conference playoffs this year, but he does have help from Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony.

The Thunder face off against the Utah Jazz in Oklahoma City Wednesday night at 8:00 PM EST.
