2016-17 NBA MVP Russell Westbrook has become notorious for his responses to the media. While he has often shown to be quite entertaining at times, it is safe to say the ‘Triple-Double King' is not always too nice to reporters.

Oklahoma City finally got a much-needed day off after a slow start to the 2017-18 NBA season. According to Thunder beat writer Fred Katz, Westbrook was once again, not in the mood for questions.

His disgruntled response is clearly a result of the lackluster 4-6 record so far this year. Perhaps what makes it even more frustrating is that Thunder has managed to play relatively well on both ends of the floor so far this year.

Although there was concern as to how Westbrook would adjust to superstars teammates Paul George and Carmelo Anthony, the ‘Big 3' have been surprisingly in sync through the first 10 games of the 2017-18 NBA season. Each player is currently averaging at least 20 points per game on virtually the same amount of shots.

Although Westbrook and Anthony have been labeled as defensive liabilities, Oklahoma City still has the second-best defensive rating in the league. Until the Thunder can find a way to turn those numbers into wins, then one can assume more snarky responses from Westbrook are likely on the way.
