You wouldn’t trust your life on the chances of Oklahoma City Thunder swingman Andre Roberson making a free throw. Roberson has garnered probably as much fame for his ability on the defensive end of the floor as his apparent ineptitude on the free throw line. For the record, Roberson is shooting just 29.4 percent from the foul line. It’s just plain bad.

Andre Roberson misses more than he sinks shots from the charity stripe, and on the few times he knocks one in, it just looks as though it happened by accident. Just take for example the way his trip to the free throw line unfolded in the fourth quarter of Monday’s game at home against the Houston Rockets.

His first attempt went against the glass, which had enough pity for Roberson to help him get that one to trickle down. Roberson’s teammate and reigning NBA MVP Russell Westbrook seemed to be pumped up after that shot, but he had completely no idea how Roberson’s second attempt would go.

Perhaps in an attempt to show people that he can swish one in without using the board, Andre Roberson adjusted his second shot, resulting in an airball. In two free throw shots, Roberson was able to demonstrate how volatile Bitcoin’s value can be.

Vintage Roberson. Just classic Mr. Roberson.
