The NBA continues to go great lengths to prove that the league is more than just about basketball.
Prior to the Oklahoma City Thunder’s hosting of the Orlando Magic at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Tuesday, the home team honored the families of the people killed in the tragic OKC bombing in 1995.
Each family member of the fallen received a special City Edition with the name of their loved one on the back.
The infamous truck bombing claimed the lives of 168 people and injured more than 680 others, which also destroyed one-third of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City back in April 19, 1995.
The touching gesture was received with a standing ovation from the home crowd and was even commended by Twitter users who called it a class act.
OKC went on to win the game, 102-94, improving their record to 3-4.
