Tiger Woods has come out with his first tweet following the serious car crash he was involved in last week. The golfing legend showed his appreciation for all the love and support he has been receiving during these trying times, particularly to the PGA Tour golfers who decided to honor him with their Red Sunday tribute.

In his tweet, Woods admitted that he was at a loss for words in trying to express his gratitude:

On February 23, reports emerged that Woods had been involved in a single-vehicle car crash. He was driving his SUV at Rancho Palos Verdes at roughly 7 in the morning when tragedy struck. Woods swerved across two lanes before he hit a tree. Responding police officers reported that Woods was “lucid and calm” when they arrived at the scene.

On Sunday, several participants of the WGC-Workday Championship in Bradenton, Florida came out wearing Woods' trademark red shirt and black pants. It was a show of unity from the golfing community as they offered their support for one of the biggest icons of the sport in what has become a very difficult time for Woods.

Woods suffered several serious injuries during the unfortunate crash, which reportedly include severe leg injuries. This has led many to question whether or not the 15-time major champion will be able to play again. At this point, however, his ability to walk after a lengthy rehabilitation period remains the utmost concern. Sadly, a medical expert specializing in injuries similar to that of Woods has earlier stated that he “may never play golf again.”

Prayers up for Tiger Woods.
