Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves are climbing the Western Conference standings slowly but surely as if it was not too long ago when they were on a six-game losing streak.

So what changed for Minnesota as they now take a firm grip on the eighth seed in the West? According to Edwards, it's their mentality–and he's loving it.

“I think we're starting to love to see each other succeed. In the beginning of the season it was always ‘I want to do this, I want to do that.' We're starting to become a real team now and be excited for each other and I'm loving that,” Edwards explained after helping lead the Timberwolves to a 126-106 win over the Utah Jazz on Sunday, per Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.

That team mentality was certainly evident against the Jazz, with six players scoring in double figures as the Timberwolves led from start to finish. Karl-Anthony Towns finished with a game-high 31 points as he completed his triple-double with 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

Anthony Edwards, for his part, had a pretty silent night by his standards with 15 points. As he said, though, he really didn't have to take it all upon himself to score as Jaden McDaniels bagged 22 points.

It's easy to see where Edwards is coming from. While they are at 25-25 this season and finished the last 10 games with a 5-5 record, they are certainly playing way better compared to how they were when the campaign started.

They still have a lot of work to do to make the playoffs, but they are certainly on the right track.
